IT’S business as usual for Don Trollano as he suited up in his first game with Blackwater on Wednesday night, a week after being dealt by TnT Katropa in a stunning trade that had rookie Bobby Ray Parks as the central figure.

Trollano contributed right away for the Elite with 14 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, numbers which weren't enough to save the team from losing to an import-less San Miguel side in overtime, 99-96, in the PBA Governors Cup at the Astrodome.

The 27-year-old native of Gigmoto, Catanduanes hardly showed any effects of the surprising trade although he struggled with his shooting, going 6-of-15 from the field.

Trollano said he already accepted his fate and is now focused on helping improve his new team.

I’ll just play as hard as I can,” he added.

That he once played for Blackwater during his amateur days made it easier for him to make the transition to the Elite.

Trollano already had the opportunity to say goodbye to his former TnT teammates the other day when he dropped by the Katropa’s morning practice.

Wala pa sila coach Bong (Ravena),” he said.

Trollano also got the chance to talk to Troy Rosario, Roger Pogoy, and some other Katropa who were already in the practice venue.

“Family pa rin naman sila,” he said of the Katropa.
