JAYSON David hopes he'll already be good to play in the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals after suffering a dislocated right shoulder in Ginebra's do-or-die encounter with Converge, Sunday night.
David said he will undergo therapy for the injured shoulder in the week-long break leading to Game 1 of the semis on January 4.

"Sana for Game 1 maging ok na, makapag-ensayo na kasi masyadong mabigat yung kalaban," said David following the thrilling 99-98 win over the Converge FiberXers at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The fifth seeded Kings will meet defending champion and top-seed San Miguel in the best-of-seven series.
David sustained the injury after missing a layup off a fastbreak play inside the final four minutes and the Kings leading, 77-71.
He was down on the floor for a few minutes and was grimacing in pain before being brought to the dugout where Ginebra's physical therapist managed to bring back the shoulder in its proper place.
"Naibalik naman agad ng mga PTs," said David, which had the dislocated shoulder put on a sling after the contest.
"Sabi ko ibalik ninyo, babalik ako sa game. Kaso huwag na raw, e,"
David never returned and finished with 13 points and two assists on 3-of-4 shooting.
Good thing, surgery is not required - only therapy.
“Sana makabalik na tayo sa semis,” he said.
