A few months after joining NLEX, Dave Marcelo is now assured of a longer stint with the franchise.
The veteran big man was renewed to a one year contract by the Road Warriors on Wednesday, according to his representative Danny Espiritu.

Marcelo and Espiritu signed the new contract as witnessed by NLEX team manager Larry Fonacier and deputy Magnum Membrere.
The signing came just three months after the 34-year-old product of San Beda came aboard NLEX as a free agent.
He was actually traded by TNT and a first round pick to Rain or Shine for rookie big man Henry Galinato and Jewel Ponferada.
The Elasto Painters though, waived off Marcelo, who became a free agent.
NLEX didn't lose time to pick him up in the free agency market to reunite him with college coach Frankie Lim.
