Danny Seigle calls for end to PBA hostility: 'Get your act together'

    Nov 3, 2017

ONE of the PBA’s elder statesmen should know a thing or two about what’s right or wrong for the league.

Danny Seigle on Friday put out an open letter on social media about his thoughts on the ongoing standoff in the PBA board over the tenure of current commissioner Chito Narvasa.

The 16-year veteran, who was part of the shortlist of candidates to replace Chito Salud two years ago, before Narvasa won the post, said he hopes the league can get through this latest storm – for the benefit of its fans.

“Over the years, PBA had its share of turbulence, but now is a critical time,” Seigle posted on his Twitter page. “People’s livelihood and careers are dependent on its success. Hoping what’s best for the league and all its members is what will prevail.

“And I say this with utmost respect for the powers that be. Please get your act together, PBA,” he added.
