CALASIAO, Pangasinan—The North All-Stars won the dance-off held before the start of the PBA All-Star Game on Sunday at the Calasiao Sports Complex.
Arwind Santos and Calvin Abueva put on their dancing moves in one of the most awaited events in the PBA All-Star Game, the highlight of which is emulating Internet sensation Dante Gulapa to the tune of ‘Buwan’ by Juan Karlos.
It was a clean sweep for the North All-Stars, who also won the All-Star Game later. The team received P100,000 cash prize for winning the dance-off.
The North All-Stars also put on a show in using 1990s music in the winning dance choreographed by Santos.
The South All-Stars took home P50,000 for getting the runner-up honors with Jio Jalalon choreographing their performance. They also did Gulapa’s dance moves in their performance but it was not enough.
