"It was a good game. I think ‘yun lang talaga ‘yung naging scenario at ‘yun ‘yung naging sitwasyon (na Akari gave us a good fight in this game).

"Lalo na’t paparating na ‘yung semis, maganda na nagkaroon kami ng ganitong situation na kailangan naming i-push ‘yung mga sarili namin to execute and really bring out our game," said Carlos, who was named player of the game coming off the bench.
The also-ran Chargers broke the floodgates open from Set 1 and took over with a 21-11 lead that quickly vanished as the Cool Smashers emerged with a 13-2 run to take set point.
This, only to be squandered as Dindin Santiago-Manabat (13 points) & Co overhauled a champion-caliber comeback.
From there, Akari's best efforts fell flat with well-versed scoring outputs from Jema Galanza (16 points) and Pangs Panaga (12 points) before its prelims finale versus Galeries Tower (1-9).
