Sources contacted by SPIN.ph bared the Tropang 5G haved moved to acquire former Gilas Pilipinas gunner Jordan Heading from Converge to fill holes in their lineup left by long-term injuries to Jayson Castro and Rey Nambatac.
The trade picture is still incomplete, but source said the two sides have reached an agreement that will have TNT likely give up the signing rights to enigmatic guard Mikey Williams to be able to get its hands on the sharp-shooting Heading.

Fil-Aussie Heading has impressed in his time with Converge but has not seen action in the PBA Philippine Cup, his absence blamed by coach Franco Atienza to a 'bad case of back spasm' that he said has been 'off and on.'
But sources insisted Heading will be available to give TNT a boost in the Philippine Cup, where the flagship franchise of the MVP group has a shot at completing only the sixth team to win a grand slam in the PBA's 50 years.

The deal, which sources said has already been approved by both teams but still has to be signed, will be sent to the PBA Commissioner’s Office within the week.
Heading’s arrival will give TNT additional firepower from the outside as he is expected to thrive in the system of coach Chot Reyes. He has also played point guard in some games fo both Converge and SGA.

Another source told SPIN.ph that aside from Heading, the Tropang 5G are also looking for a serviceable big man who they will use as fortress in the playoffs when they face tall teams like San Miguel, Ginebra and even Converge.
