CONVERGE emerged as the team with the most number of players in the PBA All-Star Game set on March 8 in Candon, Ilocos Sur.

The FiberXers have a total of five entries in the main event of the Season 50 All-Star weekend featuring the Solid North vs. Solid South.

The Converge players who made it are Twin Towers Justin Arana and Justin Baltazar, Alec Stockton, newly-acquired Calvin Abueva, and rookie Juan Gomez De Liano.

Abueva and De Liano were voted in by fans as part of North’s starting unit of coach Leo Austria, while Arana, Baltazar, and Stockton were voted as reserves by the 12 PBA coaches.

Arana and Baltazar will play alongside Abueva and De Liano, while Stockton will suit up for the South team to be handled by coach Chot Reyes.

The 38-year-old Abueva was actually voted by fans while still with Titan Ultra. He was eventually traded by the Giant Risers to the FiberXers last week in exchange for the trio of Rey Suerte, King Caralipio, and rookie Mark Omega.

After Converge, Barangay Ginebra and San Miguel are next with four players each.

Among the Kings, named as All-Stars are Japeth Aguilar, Scottie Thompson, Stephen Holt, and RJ Abarrientos, while the Beermen include none other than top fan favorite June Mar Fajardo, CJ Perez, Don Trollano, and Jericho Cruz.
