CONVERGE has added more size to its talent-laden roster.
The FiberXers have acquired 6-foot-3 wingman Frederick Tungcab from the unrestricted free agent list (with rights to salary) just before the PBA Holy Week break.

He was quickly inserted in the Converge lineup as its 15th local in the ongoing PBA 50th Season Commissioner’s Cup.
The former University of the Philippines and Adamson product was relagated by Blackwater to its UFAWR2S list, enabling Converge to pick him up.
Marvin Espiritu of the Espiritu Manotoc Basketball Management confirmed the transfer of the former Gilas Pilipinas pool member.
His acquisition comes at a time the FiberXers are struggling in the mid-season conference where they've lost their last four games for a 1-4 record.
Tungcab had spent his past few months with Blackwater on the injury list and is currently rehabilitating from an ACL injury.
But he's already doing running and jumping drills and is now allowed to participate in non-contact workout.
Tungcab was originally picked by TNT in the special Gilas draft in Season 46.
After a two-year stint with the Tropang 5G, he was eventually shipped to Blackwater as part of the package for TNT to acquire the rights on big man Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser.
