CHICAGO -- After an 0-2 start in the ongoing Governors' Cup it now appears that Blackwater is on the verge of an import replacement.
Although the team has yet to make the switch official, the tell-tale signs point to that direction.
Ricky Ledo is no longer with the team and has ceased participating in practices.
"Wala na po siya sa practice simula kahapon. I think we are replacing him na," a reliable source with knowledge of the situation told SPIN.ph on Saturday night.
After arriving at Blackwater with stellar credentials that included an NBA stint, the 31-year old Ledo failed to meet expectations.
The former Dallas Maverick scored only 18 points in the Bossings' twin losses where he went 6-of-38 from the field and 0-for-7 from the newly-installed 4-point line.
The impending import change comes on the heels of Blackwater's August 25 game versus San Miguel followed by an August 30 date with Ginebra.
