CHICAGO- Like I said before this PBA 50th Season Governors' Cup quarterfinals series began, Converge is the superior team with more talent across the board.
To beat the mighty FiberXers, Rain or Shine can't rely only on toughness and defense. They need to make shots, too.
READ Guiao demands more as ROS import Fuller misfires in Game 3 loss
And they didn't in Wednesday night's Gane 3, hitting just 29-of-84 field goals (34.5 percent) including 12-of-40 from three (30 percent).
Converge 105. Rain or Shine 89.
'AIR NOCUM' GROUNDED.
Felix Lemetti led RoS' charge with 18 points while Caelan Tiongson added 17. Adrian Nocum completed his first career triple double but was held to 11 points on 3-of-12 shooting.
Making matters worse for coach Yeng Guiao's squad was the timid performance of import Aaron Fuller, who missed eight if 10 shots to finish with a dismal four points.
Fuller's counterpart, Cam Clark had a strong 18 points, five rebounds five assists for Converge.
Unlike Games 1 and 2 where they fell behind early, Rain or Shine actually took a slim 53-52 halftime lead.
A TALE OF TWO HALVES.
Until the wheels fell off in the second half where Converge outscored RoS 30-22 in the third quarter and 23-14 in the fourth.
Juan Gomez de Liano proved to be a thorn on RoS's side, this time puncturing them with 19 points, 13 rebounds and six assists.
Justin Baltazar had 15 points and six rebounds. while Jonnel Policarpio and Calvin Abueva chipped in 13 apiece.

Converge is too good, too deep.
But Rain or Shine, behind the genius of Guiao, has slain bigger goliaths in the past.
Can they do it again?
