BOCAUE, Bulacan – Christian Standhardinger beat a horde of heroes from Barangay Ginebra to win his first Finals MVP of his PBA career at the end of an epic Commissioner’s Cup Finals against the Bay Area Dragons.
Standhardinger posted consistent numbers in a fiercely fought best-of-seven finals that went the distance, averaging 10.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 steals while anchoring Ginebra's frontline against Bay Area big men Liu Chuanxing, Duncan Reid, and Andrew Nicholson.
