CHRIS Ross suffered a nasty cut above the nose after getting hit by an elbow from San Miguel teammate Renaldo Balkman late in the second quarter of Game Three of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Balkman was going for an offensive rebound against Ginebra when he inadvertently hit his teammate. Moments after June Mar Fajardo made the basket with 25.2 seconds left in the second, Ross immediately retreated to the dugout to get treatment.
San Miguel was leading at halftime, 53-51.
