EVEN off the court, Chris Ross refuses to lose.
The reigning PBA Philippine Cup Finals MVP showed his competitive side in a mere paper dance, which he won during San Miguel Beer’s fans’ day at Robinsons Magnolia on Wednesday.
A day before he turns 32, Ross and her female partner were the last two standing in the parlor game, edging Arnold Van Opstal and his partner by staying balanced on a small piece of newspaper for a few more seconds than his rookie teammate in the final round.
The parlor game was among the activities in the meet-and-greet-session where the three-peat all-Filipino champions distributed gift packs to fans and obliged to photo requests after.

Arwind Santos, a part-time recording artist, earlier serenaded fans with Basil Valdez’s hit single “You” alongside SMB reserve Axel Doruelo.
June Mar Fajardo even flew in from Cebu to make an appearance for the fans.
“Para sa kanila ‘to,” Santos said. “Hindi kami magdadalawang isip na pasayahin sila.”
“Sobrang thankful kami na nababalik namin yung pasasalamat sa kanila pagkatapos nila suportahan ang team nila,” he added.
