CEBU CITY – JR Quinahan showed up at the EASL game between Meralco and Macau Black Bears at the Cebu Coliseum on Saturday after he was among the victims of typhoon Tino.
The big man from Manduae City received cheers from fans that spotted entering the venue during halftime of the game that incidentally was for the benefit of the victims of the typhoon that ravaged the province.
Quinahan was among the people that was affected by the floods, and made a heroic effort to rescue his neighbors during the ordeal.

In a brief chat with SPIN.ph, Quinahan also made it clear that he is not making a PBA comeback, saying that he is already satisfied with the career he had in the top-tier league in the country.
Quinahan said there is no truth to anything spreading on social media related to him about a PBA return.
“Pag may 40-above, puwede ako doon,” said Quinahan in jest.
When told that his former team Rain or Shine needs a big man after the season-ending injury to Keith Datu, Quinahan said: “Nag-sign na si Manaytay.”
Quinahan, once a member of the ‘Extra Rice’ duo with Beau Belga at Rain or Shine, said he is already happy with his life in Cebu, while also contented to play in the MPBL.
“Hindi ko pa alam. May team pa naman Cebu. Okay na ako dito,” he stated.
