JAYSON Castro and Isaac Go are set for PBA comebacks after the two players were included in their respective teams' 15-man rosters for the Commissioner’s Cup which kicks off on Wednesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
But conspicuously absent from Terrafirma’s 14-man list are key players Mark Nonoy and Louie Sangalang, as well as Greg Slaughter from Titan Ultra's.
Castro is included in the current Tropang 5G lineup along with Simon Enciso, Tyrus Hill, Rey Nambatac, Calvin Oftana, Glenn Khobuntin, Mike Nieto, Jordan Heading, Roger Pogoy, Kelly Williams, Jio Jalalon, Henry Galinato, Kim Aurin, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Kevin Ferrer, and import Bol Manute Budut Bol.

Poy Erram however, was relegated to the injured/reserved list.
Go meanwhile, is back in the Kings' roster for the midseason conference, joining Troy Rosario, Jeremiah Gray, RJ Abarrientos, Scottie Thompson, Nards Pinto, Stephen Holt, Ralph Cu, John Abis, Raymond Aguilar, Jayson David, Japeth Aguilar, Norbert Torres, Kemark Carino, Sonny Estil, and Justin Brownlee.
However, Carino, acquired in a pre-conference trade with Terrafirma for Ben Adamos, won’t be available to play until April yet as he recovers from an ACL injury.
Castro and Go were both out last season due to a patellar tendon tear and an ACL tear on the right knee, respectively.
The 39-year-old Castro went down with the injury during Game 2 of the semifinals of this same conference in Season 49 or just a tournament removed from being named Finals MVP during the Philippine Cup.

Go, on the other hand, injured his knee right in his very first game with Barangay Ginebra, or just after being acquired in a trade with Terrafirma along with Stephen Holt for the duo of Christian Standhardinger and Stanley Pringle.
In the absence of Sangalang and Nonoy, the Dyip have lined up Paul Garcia, Keith Zaldivar, Jerrick Ahanmisi, CJ Catapusan, Aljon Mariano, Maverick Ahanmisi, Geo Chiu, Paolo Hernandez, Joseph Eriobu, John Bravo, Shawn Umali, Didat Hanapi, Brent Paraiso, Adamos, and import Ali Mabushar.
On the other hand, Slaughter and Titan Ultra have held talks the past few weeks on a possible PBA comeback. That his name wasn't on the roster submitted by the Giant Risers doesn't bode well for the seven-footer.
