IT will take a few more games before Calvin Abueva makes his Converge debut.
Head coach Delta Pineda said the 38-year-old Abueva is still dealing with a hamstring injury that would ground him for two or three more games before he finally sees action in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
"Maybe two or three more games. Rest na muna," said Pineda about one of his popular proteges from Pampanga.

Abueva sat out Converge's opening game against the Macau Black Knights, which the FiberXers won, 102-94.
Pineda later joked about age finally catching up with the 'Beast.'
"Wala na may edad na. Akala niyo lang malakas pa, pero nangangatog na yung tuhod," Pineda said with a chuckle.
"Buti nga hindi uric acid."
The same hamstring injury limited Abueva to just a few minutes of playing for the North Team in the recent PBA All-Star game.
