CALVIN Abueva of Magnolia and San Miguel big man Mo Tautuaa were summoned to appear before Commissioner Willie Marcial, two days after the two players and their wives figured in a post-game spat at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Abueva and Tautuaa were set to sit down with Marcial in a 2:30 p.m. meeting at the PBA office on Tuesday to shed light on the altercation that marred Game Two of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals which the Beermen won, 109-85.
Aside from the spat that happened in the MOA Arena tunnel that also involved the two players' wives, Abueva is also accused of mocking SMB coach Jorge Gallent's physical disability during the highly emotional game.
Gallent was left visually impared by a motorcycle accident.
Any decision on the matter by Marcial will weigh heavily on the best-of-seven series, especially since Abueva and the Hotshots are backed against the wall facing a 0-2 deficit ahead of Game Three on Wednesday.
