PHOENIX Super LPG posted a team photo on its social media account ahead of the its new uniforms for the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup inside the bubble in Pampanga.
The Fuel Masters unveiled their jerseys and posted a photo on their social media accounts ahead of the October 11 resumption of Philippine Cup in a photo shoot at the Angeles University Foundation gym.
Calvin Abueva, still suspended by the league following a clothesline hit on TNT import Terrence Jones last June, was part of the shoot and was seen goofing around in the team’s photo.
The Fuel Masters will be donning new uniforms after it changed its branding from Phoenix Pulse to Phoenix Super LPG for the 2020 PBA season.
But the debut of the team as the Phoenix Super LPG brand was delayed after the PBA postponed its games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Fuel Masters will face Meralco on Monday to open their Philippine Cup campaign.
It is still unclear whether Abueva will be able to return to the match, but he is closing in on regaining his pro basketball license after taking part in a seminar and undergoing a mandatory drug test required by the Games and Amusements Board.
