CALVIN Abueva has been given the go-signal by the PBA Commissioner's Office to rejoin Phoenix Pulse practice upon his own request, but there is no specific timetable for his return to action.
The enigmatic forward met with PBA commissioner Willie Marcial in the presence of Phoenix team manager Paolo Bugia, PBA technical director Eric Castro and legal counsel Melvin Mendoza on Monday, more than three months after being indefinitely suspended for his clothesline hit on TNT import Terrence Jones.

Sought for comment, Marcial said he has granted Abueva's request to be allowed to rejoin the practices of Phoenix so he can regain top shape.
"Tumataba raw kasi s'ya, so pinayagan ko na," Marcial told SPIN.ph.
However, the league chief said there is no definite timetable set on Abueva's return, adding a process will have to be followed and conditions met before the indefinite suspension is lifted.
But the green light to return to practice is a crucial first step for Abueva, who has become embroiled in a very public spat with his wife and was caught playing in a 'ligang labas' game since his suspension.
Marcial declined to go into detail, saying the ball is in Abueva's court.
