CALVIN Abueva has been fined P20,000 for the elbow to the head of Zavier Lucero during Converge's game against Magnolia and was given a stern warning by the PBA Commissioner's Office.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said Abueva's hit on Lucero was also upgraded to flagrant foul penalty two from F1 after summoning the Converge player prior to the FiberXers' game against TNT on Wednesday.

Marcial said Abueva was apologetic during the meeting, but still warned that a repeat act will lead to a stiffer penalty.
It was the second time that Abueva was sanctioned this conference.
Abueva was meted a P20,000 fine for a March 29 incident when he shouted ‘Paldo referee' and ‘Apat sila paldo' in the hallway of the Smart-Araneta Coliseum after a Converge loss to Barangay Ginebra.
