THE PBA Commissioner's Office has summoned Calvin Abueva for his comments about officiating during Sunday's game between Converge and Barangay Ginebra.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial confirmed that Abueva was summoned on Monday, with the Converge player even posting on Instagram a photo of himself at the league office in Libis, Quezon City.

Abueva is facing sanctions after he screamed, “Paldo referee” and, “Apat silang paldo” in the hallway heading to the dugouts of the Smart-Araneta Coliseum after the FiberXers' 99-93 loss to the Gin Kings on Sunday.
Abueva shouted those comments while mediamen were taking videos of the FiberXers heading back to the Converge dugout.

League sources said Abueva was both remorseful and emotional when he appeared before Marcial at the PBA office.
