RAIN or Shine seeks to maintain the solo leadership before the league heads into a two-week break as it battles Magnolia on Wednesday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Rain or Shine is looking to extend its four-game winning streak and improve its 6-1 record against winless Magnolia (0-2).
Wednesday is the league’s final playdate before the PBA takes a break to give way to Team Pilipinas’ campaign in the Fiba Basketball World Cup Asian qualifiers.
The Elastopainters continued their winning ways on Sunday when they beat Phoenix Pulse in overtime, 98-94, to gain first place in the team standings.
Rain or Shine coach Caloy Garcia said the Elastopainters must not be complacent about their standing.
“We have to look at what's going right right now and we have to look at what's going wrong,” Garcia said. “Sabi ko nga sa mga players, we want to stay on top. We just have to stick together and stick with the system.”
Magnolia was overmatched by San Miguel, 113-92, on Sunday to suffer its second consecutive loss of the season.
In the first game, Alaska looks to win its second straight game against Blackwater at 4:30 p.m.
The Aces notched their first win after two games on Wednesday, beating Columbian, 94-72, while the Elite (1-5) are coming off an 85-67 loss to Barangay Ginebra in Digos City, Davao Del Sur.
