REIGNING league MVP Mark Caguioa said watching Barangay Ginebra's past four games in street clothes from the bench has not been a pleasant performance for him.

Yet don't expect him to return to the court any day soon.

Speaking after Ginebra's 92-103 loss to Alaska on Wednesday night, the injured Kings star said he has started to join the team's shootarounds in practice but has yet to participate in five-on-five drills.

The end to Ginebra's six-game winning streak may prompt Ginebra to bring back its leading scorer, but Caguioa doubts if he will be healthy enough to play in the team's final game of the PBA Commissioner's Cup eliminations against Talk 'N Text on Sunday.

“Not yet dahil wala pa ako sa takbuhan (five-on-five)," said Caguioa, who suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee in the March 22 win over the Meralco Bolts.

"Pero importante ngayon is just to be 100 percent going to the playoffs,” added Caguioa.
