SAN Miguel has produced two come-from-behind victories to beat TNT in the quarterfinal round but if he has his way, Beermen veteran Alex Cabagnot would rather not win games that way.

The Beermen overcame 25- and 12-point deficits in Game One and Two respectively to sweep the KaTropa in the quarterfinal round.

Cabagnot, who was a key player in the Game Two comeback, however, hopes San Miguel would not have to mount a big fightback again in the PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals against second seed Alaska.

“We are going to try not to come from behind,” said Cabagnot. “We are gonna look at it pretty sure, ‘yung mga coaching staff, management, will do diligent the process. We are going to adequately change that.”

Cabagnot had 21 points, six rebounds, and six assists in the Beermen’s 106-102 win over KaTropa. He scored five points in a 7-0 finish to the third quarter with San Miguel up, 80-77.

They are running like a well-oiled machine right now so we are going back to the drawing board and stay ahead of the learning curve by the time the first game happens,” Cabagnot said.
