THE long road to recovery begins for Titan Ultra rookie Bryan Sajonia.
The guard out of San Beda had a successful surgery after going down with an ACL tear in the final week of the PBA Governors' Cup first round eliminations.

Titan Ultra team manager Barbie Arsolon said in a Facebook post that Sajonia had already undergone left ACL reconstruction and lateral meniscus repair on Tuesday.
The operation came almost two weeks since Sajonia sustained the injury in Titan Ultra's game against San Miguel Beer at the Ynares Center in Antipolo

Sajonia is expected to be out of action for at least 12 months.
Dr. Richard Pasion did the surgery on the rookie player taken in during the fourth round (no. 39 overall) by the Giant Risers in last year's draft.
Sajonia didn't play for Titan Ultra right away at the start of Season 50 as he opted to finish his final playing year with San Beda.
The decision proved to be a perfect one for the 26-year-old native of Pavia, Iloilo as he managed to help the Red Lions regain back the NCAA men's basketball championship, where he ended up being named Finasl MVP against Letran.
And when he finally debuted for the Giant Risers, he was quick to show that he belonged as he emerged among the top gunners of the young franchise.
At the time he got injured, he was the team's second leading scorer among locals with averages of 11.5 points along with 2.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists, next only to veteran Joshua Munzon (15.0 points. 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists).
