Justin Brownlee topscored 36 points while Greg Slaughter added 18 points for the Gin Kings, who are now 2-0 in their build-up for the season-ending conference.

Brownlee scored 22 points right in the first quarter on their way to a 52-33 halftime lead. Slaughter chipped in 14 in the second half to help the Gin Kings maintain a safe gap between them and the visiting Koreans.

Aljon Mariano scored eight points and Stanley Pringle had seven for the Gin Kings, who will play another Korean team in Changwon LG Sakers next week.

“We played outstanding tonight. We are not going to play like that every night. We shot the ball well, we moved the ball, we defended well,” said Ginebra coach Tim Cone.

Cone said the lopsided victory is not indicative of the quality of their opponent.

“They did not shoot the ball well. They had a bunch of open shots. Usually, when you leave someone open, it’s lights out. They missed a lot of open ones. We were fortunate,” said Cone.

Leon Williams scored 20 points to lead the Egis.
