SPIN.ph sources confirmed that the famed Fil-Am guard is joining the Abra Weavers for the upcoming season which will tip off on March 8.
It’s a season-long deal which would keep Brickman busy while he awaits the PBA Season 50 Rookie Draft later this year.

That, however, doesn’t mean that the 33-year-old guard is looking at this as a stop-gap, with the Abra side of coach Yong Garcia retooling heavily in the offseason.
Abra's kadabra
The Weavers, owned by La Paz Mayor JB Bernos, has been active in the offseason adding key players like Dave Ildefonso, Encho Serrano, and the La Salle trio of Joshua David, CJ Austria, and Raven Gonzales.
Also among the new faces for the team are University of the East’s Jack Cruz-Dumont, Mapua’s Joaqui Garcia, and Fil-Canadian guard Kascius Small-Martin.
Veterans Mark Yee, Yousef Taha, and Alfred Batino will provide leadership to this team which made the North Division playoffs in its inaugural campaign last year.
Brickman’s arrival should be a big plus considering the experience that he’s had, including his stints with San Miguel Alab Pilipinas which he helped claim the 2016 Asean Basketball League (ABL) crown, as well as his recent stop with Kaohsiung Aquas in Taiwan which he steered to the 2022 T1 League championship.
