IMPORT Brandon Brown has only played three games for Phoenix in the PBA Governors Cup but is already the recipient of a total of P12,500 fine.
Brown was penalized for P7,500 for a landing spot infraction and an automatic flagrant foul penalty 1, and an additional P5,000 for spitting on the floor.
The fine on the Fuel Masters’ import was the highest for the week based on the latest list released by the league.
NLEX coach Yeng Guiao was second in the list with P3,400 for using profane language that resulted in a technical foul.
All fines, according to the league, go straight into the PBA Players’ Trust Fund.
Kelly Nabong, meanwhile, was P2,000 poorer for incurring a technical foul for second motion.
Penalized P1,000 each for various violations include Rain or Shine import J’Nathan Bullock (technical foul for not reporting to officials' table), Prince Caperal of KIA (pulled down of shorts during a substitution), Blackwater import Henry Walker (technical foul for using profane language), and James Sena also of Blackwater (technical foul for continuously complaining against the referee’s call.
