BLACKWATER goes for a quarterfinal berth on Wednesday when the Elite clash with Magnolia in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.
The Elite, who hold a 6-1 card, also seek a share of the lead with idle Barangay Ginebra.

Phoenix and NLEX clash at 4:30 p.m.
The Fuel Masters are in fifth place with a 5-2 card, but right behind is the Road Warriors with a 4-3 slate, both teams battling for seeding in the quarterfinals.
Phoenix coach Louie Alas noted the importance of the game against NLEX.
“Isang talo namin dito, you’ll go deeper sa standings. Very, very crucial ‘yung game namin. Ipinaparamdam ko naman sa kanila para maglaro sila na may pressure,” said Alas.
NLEX coach Yeng Guiao remained confident about the team’s chances of landing in the top four and gaining a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.
The Road Warriors lost to Barangay Ginebra, 106-92, last Friday.
“Dati makapasok lang kami ng quarters ang habol namin, ngayon puwede pa namin ambisyonin to make the top four,” Guiao said. “We have to win against Phoenix on Wednesday to keep ourselves in the running for the top four.
“Although maraming dikit-dikit sa taas, the next few games will also determine who's going to fall by the wayside. That's why this is the part of the conference where you have to be able to stand your ground in the crucial games,” Guiao added.
