NLEX star Robert Bolick will miss his team's important game against tournament leader San Miguel Sunday in the PBA 48th Season Philippine Cup following the birth of his son this weekend.
Bolick said he will stay with his wife Cassandra as she recovers after giving birth. His absence is a big blow to NLEX's aspirations but his decision to be with his family following the delivery has the full support of NLEX management, coaches, and players.

NLEX is coming off a 112-77 defeat against Phoenix last April 20 at the Ynares Sports Arena to drop to 5-3. It was the team's second straight defeat.
One of the contenders for the Best Player of the Conference, Bolick struggled in the game against Phoenix where he had 11 points against Phoenix.
Without Bolick, NLEX will have its hands full against San Miguel which holds an 8-0 win-loss slate entering the contest.
