THE PBA has summoned Hayden Blankley and import Myles Powell of guest team Bay Area for their comments on the officiating in Game Three of the Commissioner’s Cup finals.
Commissioner Willie Marcial said he will speak with Blankley and Powell on Thursday after the Dragons lost to Barangay Ginebra, 89-82, on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The summon was made after a post by Blankley on Instagram in which he criticized the officiating of Game Three, describing it as “cooked.”
Powell was also summoned following his tweets in relation to the free throw discrepancy between Bay Area and Barangay Ginebra.
The Dragons fell to the Gin Kings despite leading by as many as 14 points in a game where they only shot 10 free throws and had 28 fouls. Their opponent, on the other hand, attempted 38 free throws and had 12 fouls.
Meanwhile, Marcial clarified that Bay Area coach Brian Goorjian will not be summoned.
