BLACKWATER stamped its class on Rain or Shine, 15-8, to clinch the first win in the Dickies-PBA Women’s 3-on-3 tournament, which kicked off on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Allana May Lim scored eight points for the Elite, including the game-clinching basket off an assist by Camille Sambile. Blackwater got four points from Sambile and three from France Mae Cabinbin.
Nikka Andrea Tupaz and Richelyn Badajos both had three points in a losing effort for the Elasto Painters.
NLEX joined Blackwater in the early lead after routing Star, 14-6, in the second game. Angelica Ortega and Katherine Sandel teamed up and score five points each for the Road Warriors.
Ayra Nil Hufanda led the Hotshots with five.
