BLACKWATER will be parading Alex Stepheson as import for the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, according to team manager Pat Aquino.
Listed at 6-foot-10, the 31-year-old Stepheson played for Meralco in 2017 and recently played for the Yokohama B-Corsairs in the Japan league.
Stepheson was a member of the All-NBA D-League First Team in 2016 that earned him stints in the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA that same year.
A product of North Carolina and University of Southern California, Stepheson brings in heft as well as his familiarity to the PBA style of play to the Blackwater squad sorely needing help at the frontcourt.
