RK ILAGAN has been out of action for Blackwater due to a meniscus strain.
Ilagan has missed his fourth game on Saturday against Converge, with Blackwater coach Jeff Cariaso said the earliest he will be back on the floor is after the FIBA window where the PBA is taking a break before resuming in December.
“RK is recovering from a meniscus strain. His status is week-to-week,” said Cariaso.
“If he does play, it will be after the window break of the PBA,” he added.
Blackwater has sorely missed Ilagan, who has been a source on offensive for the Bossing early in the conference.
Ilagan scored 22 points in both of his appearances so far in the Philippine Cup, and even grabbed 10 rebounds in Blackwater’s first game against Terrafirma.
Prior to Saturday’s game, Blackwater hasn’t won since Ilagan got hurt.
Blackwater still has one game before the FIBA break when it faces Magnolia on Friday.
