THE PBA will talk with Blackwater coach Jeff Cariaso about an incident during a tune-up game against Converge, a video of which has been making the rounds online.
Deputy commissioner Eric Castro said the league will meet with Cariaso next week to get his side on the video that saw him entering the court and stopping play by holding on to Aljun Melecio while the Converge guard dribbling downcourt.
Cariaso appeared to have been upset by a non-call in the previous Blackwater offensive play.
“We will schedule a meeting with coach Jeff next week,” said Castro.
Cariaso was the first head coach of Converge after it purchased the Alaska franchise. He was replaced by Aldin Ayo after just conference in August 2022, before taking over the reins at Blackwater during the offseason last April.
