TnT Katropa's top scorer won't be playing in its must-win PBA Governors Cup game against Barangay Ginebra on Sunday.
Terrence Romeo won't be suiting up for the 6:45 p.m. game at the Smart Araneta Coliseum after being downed by a viral infection the past few days.
The prolific guard wasn't able to practice with the team for almost a week heading to the Katropa's must-win encounter against the two-time defending champions.
Romeo's illness couldn't have come at the worse time for TnT which is fighting for dear life in the playoff race of the season-ending conference.
The Katropa currently carry a 4-6 record and must beat Ginebra to force a playoff with sister team Meralco for the eighth and last quarterfinal berth on Tuesday.
The Katropa had lost crucial back-to-back games against San Miguel and Magnolia Pambansang Manok prior to the game.
