POY Erram and Paul Varilla of NLEX have been hit with one-game suspensions for their role in a fight that marred their PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinal against NorthPort on Monday night.
On top of the suspensions, Erram was also fined P50,000 and Varilla P40,000 by PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial.
The decision leaves top-seed NLEX without Erram and Varilla in Wednesday's sudden-death match against eight-ranked NorthPort where a place in a best-of-five semifinal against Ginebra will be at stake.

Aside from the two, NorthPort big man Christian Standhardinger was fined P5,000 for a hard foul on Kiefer Ravena which was ruled a flagrant foul penalty one after a review by the league's technical staff.
NLEX forward Philip Paniamogan was also fined P5,000 for an FFP1 on Standhardinger and Ravena P1,000 for a technical foul for second motion, also against the Batang Pier's Fil-German center.
Even without the suspensions, the Road Warriors are already reeling with three straight losses, the last a 115-90 defeat to NorthPort that set the stage for the sudden-death match on Wednesday.
