BRANDON Ganuelas-Rosser doesn’t mind playing for his third PBA team in just his sophomore season.
This one is going to be special, after all.
The 6-foot-6 Fil-Am looks forward to playing for TNT Tropang Giga where he gets to play with older brother Matt Ganuelas-Rosser for the very first time.
“Excited all around,” he said. “Really grateful to be able to share the court with Matt now.”
The get-together was made possible after BGR was dealt to TNT in a three-team trade that involved his two former teams in NLEX and Blackwater.
The Road Warriors initially traded the Gilas Pilipinas big man to the Bossing in exchange for Ato Ular, Yousef Taha, and the team’s first-round pick in the Season 51 draft.
Blackwater then sent Ganuelas-Rosser to TNT for the rights to Justin Chua, Jaydee Tungcab, and a first-round pick in the Season 51 draft.
The no. 1 overall pick by Blackwater in the Season 47 draft, Ganuelas-Rosser played just a conference for the Bossing before being traded to NLEX as part of the Troy Rosario-Calvin Oftana deal.
He spent three conferences with the Road Warriors and played in 28 games, averaging 8.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in the recent Commissioner’s Cup.
Now he starts things all over again but with one big consolation of finally playing under one team with his brother Matt.
At the same time, he looks forward to winning his first-ever league championship alongside MGR.
“That’s always the goal,” said the younger Ganuelas-Rosser.
