BRANDON Ganuelas-Rosser played his best game of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals for TNT with US-based sibling Jason in attendance at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Now he gets to show more of his stuff to his younger brother.

With BGR leading the way for TNT on both ends of the floor, the Tropang 5G kept their flickering grand slam hopes alive against the San Miguel Beermen behind an 86-78 win in Game 5 on Wednesday night.

The Fil-Am big man scored 14 big points in the opening quarter to set the tone for a TNT side that continues to overcome injury adversity to trim SMB's lead to 3-2 and keep their bid for a rare grand slam alive.

Ganuelas-Rosser went on to finish with a team-high 18 points, five rebounds, three steals, and a massive five block shots, including a chasedown swat against SMB star June Mar Fajardo.

Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser delivered a strong Game Five performance against June Mar Fajardo and other SMB bigs.

The numbers and performance were more than enough to put a smile on the face of his brother – who looks a lot like older sibling and former PBA player Matt Ganuelas-Rosser – who arrived in the country in time to watch the Big Dome game.

“He arrived (this) morning, so he was able to watch the game,” said BGR.

“I wanted him to come over early in the series, but flights got delayed and those stuff,” said BGR. “I wanted him to see more than one game.”

With TNT extending the best-of-seven duel to a Game 6 on Friday, the younger Ganuelas-Rosser, a teacher by profession, get to watch his brother in action for one more outing.

“Now we get to go to Philsports (Arena) and play another game,” said BGR.

    Added motivation for BGR

His brother’s presence somehow gave him added motivation to help lead the way for the Tropang 5G.

“Seeing family from the States always inspires you, and a motivation for sure,” said BGR.

Now he gets to play for another game for his brother to enjoy.
