SAN Miguel is set to field its new import in Bennie Boatwright while Calvin Abueva is eligible to play for Magnolia in its next game in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The league revealed that Boatwright has officially replaced Ivan Aska as San Miguel import ahead of their Christmas Day game against Phoenix Super LPG.

Abueva, meanwhile, is in line for his season debut after being activated in the roster replacing Jerick Ahanmisi, who has been relegated to the injury/reserve list.
A product of University of Southern California, the 6-foot-10 Boatwright is set to fill the Beermen's need for a big man following a fractured left hand that sidelined seven-time MVP June Mar Fajardo earlier in the season.
Magnolia is also set to welcome Abueva after he recovered from a calf injury. He already missed a couple of games early in the conference following surgery to remove hemorrhoids.
Magnolia will face Converge on Saturday.
Vigan-Fleming activated
Kamron Vigan-Fleming has also been activated by Converge for the Magnolia game, replacing Kevin Racal, who was relegated to the team’s unrestricted free agent with rights to salary.
