Team governor Atty. Mamerto Mondragon and team manager Jireh Ibanez were present during the contract renewal of the 37-year-old big man.
Belga is one of the two longest serving players of the Rain or Shine franchise along with team captain Gabe Norwood.
He came on board during the 2011-12 season and was a major part of the two championships the Elasto Painters won during the 2012 Governors’ Cup and 2016 Commissioner’s Cup.
In his Facebook post, the veteran big man thanked God for the new blessing in his career as well as to the families of Rain or Shine co-owners Raymund Yu and Terry Que.
