NORTHPORT showed the team is not all about basketball.
The Batang Pier did their own share to help out those who were affected by the severe flooding that hit Metro Manila brought about by typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon.
Head coach Bonnie Tan spearheaded the feeding program Northport held at the JYC Covered Court, Sto Nino, Tagupo Street in Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City.
The charity event was made in coordination with Quezon City Councilor Nanette Castelo-Daza.
Around 300 families were the beneficiaries of the program as Barangay Tatalon was among the hardest hit by the recent flood.
Tan was in the company of Northport coaches and players including new acquisitions Jio Jalalon, Abu Tratter, Sidney Onwubere, and rookie Evan Nelle.
Others joining them were Joshua Munzon, Paul Zamar, John Amores, William Navarro, Allyn Bulanadi, Cade Flores, Fran Yu, Damie Cuntapay, Paolo Taha, and deputy coach Rensy Bajar.
