BASER Amer suffered a setback in his return from a left calf injury on Sunday against Magnolia.
The Blackwater guard only played for 62 seconds after he felt pain in his calf, but this time in his right leg, in the Bossing’s 91-69 defeat to Magnolia that dropped them to 3-6 (win-loss) in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
Ngayon, lumipat sa kanan,” said Amer.
Amer, who before the injury averaged 16.1 points in eight games, is hoping for the best but ibracing for the worst after the non-contact injury.
“Sana maging positive result para sa last three games namin, malaro ko,” said Amer.
The 30-year old admitted he is frustrated to be sidelined after playing so well he scored 26 points in a game against NLEX last September 30.
Siguro next time, kailangan ko pa magpalakas,” said Amer.
