BARANGAY Ginebra, led by Greg Slaughter and Mac Baracael, recently led their die-hard fans in celebrating World Gin Day via a grand fans day.
The events were held simultaneously in three different venues – Obeertime, Makati; Bellagio Square, Manila; and Quattro, Quezon City.
Limited edition Ginebra San Miguel merchandises and autographed basketballs were given to lucky fans.
World Gin Day was founded by British blogger Neil Houston in 2009.
What started out as a day of celebrating and drinking gin with friends has grown into a global celebration.
Aside from the Philippines, World Gin Day events were also held in the UK, Australia and the US, among others.
