BARANGAY Ginebra shoots for the crown on Wednesday night in Game Five of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup against TNT at the Angeles University Foundation Sports Arena and Cultural Center.
The Kings hold a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven finals series.
The match is set at 6 p.m. in the Smart Clark Giga City bubble.
A win by the Gin Kings on Wednesday night will give them their 13th crown, tying them with Crispa for fourth most in the history of the PBA. It will also be Ginebra’s second consecutive conference title following their conquest of the 2019 Governors’ Cup earlier this year.
Ginebra is fancied to end the series in five games against a shorthanded TNT squad. Bobby Ray Parks remains a question mark for Wednesday’s match due to a calf injury, while Jayson Castro also got hurt in Game Four due to bone spurs in his knee.

Despite the gallant stand of RR Pogoy, the Tropang Giga bowed to the Gin Kings, 98-88, behind the heroics of LA Tenorio.
Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone remained cautious of TNT heading into Game Five, as the Kings prepare as if Parks and Castro will be suiting up for the crucial tiff.
“Even though we played our best game in the bubble, it was just barely enough to beat Talk ‘N Text. That just goes to show how good they are and how well-coached they are,” said Cone.
Cone already the winningest coach, ie eying his 23rd PBA title – fifth with the Barangay Ginebra franchise.
LA Tenorio is expected to lead the charge once again for the Gin Kings after the veteran point guard had 22 points in the Game Four victory.

Meanwhile, TNT is aiming to extend the series, and coach Bong Ravena urged his wards to step up in the do-or-die contest.
“Next man up. Hangga't maaari, lahat ng makikita namin na puwedeng maka-contribute,” said Ravena.
Pogoy looks to continue his hot shooting for Wednesday’s match after he erupted for 34 points in Game Four.
