THE PBA Commissioner’s Office will summon Converge big man Justin Baltazar and assistant coach Humperdink Dimatulac for their ‘cooking’ gesture during a Philippine Cup quarterfinal game against Barangay Ginebra on December 28.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said Baltazar and Dimatulac will be called to his office within the week.

Baltazar and Dimatulac could be facing sanctions after doing the gesture in plain view of the crowd in obvious frustration over the calls of the referees during the knockout quarterfinal which Ginebra won in overtime.
The act was also captured in short videos that spread on social media shortly after the game.

Converge went on to lose to Ginebra in overtime, 99-98, on a three-point, buzzer-beater by Stephen Holt, ending its Philippine Cup campaign despite owning the fourth seed - and twice-to-beat advantage - in the playoffs.
