ARWIND Santos is left dumbfounded regarding the status of his fellow Kapampangan, Calvin Abueva, entering the semifinal clash between San Miguel and Alaska in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The Aces have remained mum on when they'll lift Abueva's suspension after going AWOL in the elimination round owing to personal issues.
However, Santos believes that they're facing a worthy foe in the Aces with or without Abueva.
"What more kung andyan pa si Calvin? Baka mas madagdagan pa yung run nila," he added.
Asked about his preference on whether Abueva plays or not, Santos was totally honest with his answer.
He knows that they stand a better chance with Abueva remaining suspended.
For Santos, it's all about giving his all whoever they play against and he anticipates a tough grind with champion import Diamon Simpson back with the Aces and BPC frontrunner Vic Manuel leading the way for the Aces.
"Respeto ito kahit sino yung maglalaro, sino yung makakalaban namin. Hindi namin minamaliit kahit kulang sila," Santos said.
