ARWIND Santos would rather keep his sights trained on Game Three of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals than add insult to injury on Roger Pogoy after the TNT KaTropa rookie was punished for his low blow on the SMB veteran in Game Two.
Asked for his reaction on Pogoy getting slapped a P30,000 fine for the sneaky hit on his groin, Santos instead shifted talk on Game Three on Sunday night when the Beermen shoot for a second straight win and a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series..
“No comment na ako dyan. Basta ako, focus kami sa Game Three,” Santos said in a short chat with SPIN.ph after practice on Saturday.
Still, Santos expressed disappointment to get involved in an altercation with a fellow Far Eastern University alumnus.
Pangit tingnan… Samantalang dati, naaalala ko pagka may laro sila, nandun ako lagi, nakasuporta.”
Now, Santos is waiting for an apology from Pogoy.
