ARWIND Santos says he has yet to regain his old form, but his performance on Wednesday showed otherwise.
The former league MVP finished with 19 points in San Miguel's 110-106 victory over Meralco, his best game in the PBA Governors Cup since returning from a knee injury.
Pinagkakatiwalaan pa rin ako ng mga teammates at coaches so syempre kailangan ko ibigay yung mga ineexpect nila," said Santos, who also had five rebounds and two assists.
The win put the Beermen in a logjam with Ginebra and Mahindra in second place on 6-2 win-loss records, just a game behind leage leader TNT Katropa.
But the lanky forward said there's still work to be done for the Beermen to clinch a top two spot entering the playoffs.
"Hindi pa kami masaya kasi hindi pa naman namin nase-secure yung top two positions," he said.
He added, "One and two yung goal namin.
